Project content

Project description

Renovation of the Henri Deschamps Aquatic Stadium in Talence.

The renovation project of the aquatic stadium aims to preserve and enhance the original architecture while modernizing the facility to meet contemporary uses and accommodate all levels of swimming practice.

It includes the restructuring of the existing facilities, the renovation of both indoor and outdoor pools — an indoor main pool (25 x 12.5 m, 5 lanes), a small indoor pool (1.3 x 0.7 m), and an outdoor main pool (50 x 20 m, 8 lanes) — as well as the partial rehabilitation of the north grandstand, now housing the technical rooms, a new boiler room, and ancillary spaces.

The redevelopment of the surrounding areas includes the modernization of the changing rooms and associated services, the creation of outdoor relaxation and leisure areas, and the overall optimization of the environment to improve accessibility and strengthen architectural coherence.

All these interventions, respectful of the site’s identity, contribute to revitalizing the aquatic stadium and sustainably improving its facilities.
