Project description

Construction of a cultural and sports facility

Construction of a cultural and sports facility, including an art hub (an art room), a music hub (a large orchestra hall and studios for contemporary music), a dance hub (a dance studio), and a sports hub (a multi-sport hall with a 44x24m playing area and a climbing wall).

The two main entities (Cultural Hub and Sports Hub) are located in two visually independent volumes, arranged on the site to leave a free space designed as a landscaped square, adjacent and level with Rue de la Peupleraie.

This square is connected by a pedestrian pathway, between the two volumes, to Rue de la Pépinière. It facilitates access to the school complex for the surrounding residences.

The facility includes a large conviviality hall, a semi-buried parking lot with 69 spaces, and a large landscaped forecourt linking to the school complex located across the street.

Parking and technical rooms also have direct pedestrian access from Rue de la Pépinière. The common hall opens directly onto the square, facing the school complex.
