Site Update – Future Metropolitan Martial Arts Hub in Lormont

Program Overview:
Rehabilitation and extension of the Metropolitan Martial Arts Hub in Lormont, with an increase in capacity to 3,000 seats (including retractable and removable bleachers) for the sports hall dedicated specifically to combat sports. The sports complex will also include a wrestling room, a boxing room, a physical preparation and warm-up area, administrative spaces, reception areas, changing rooms, and restrooms.
The versatility of the main sports hall will be ensured by a movable and retractable combat sports platform underneath the multifunctional sports area (for handball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc.).

This extension will place the Lormont Dojo at the forefront of regional sports facilities for combat sports. It will serve the development of sports not only in the municipality but also across the Aquitaine region, acting as a resource for sports for all, school sports, and high-performance sports.

The future Metropolitan Martial Arts Hub in Lormont is expected to be operational by September 2025.
