Open Days at the construction site of the future Arena in Les Sables-d'Olonne

As a reminder, the Arena is a future sports and cultural complex located in Les Sables-d’Olonne. This large-scale project will include a large, versatile, and modular cultural hall (1,000 to 3,000 seats) with a stage cage opening onto an outdoor theatre, a modular Arena (2,000 to 4,000 seats), a gymnastics hall (400 seats), practice and creation rooms, a bar-restaurant opening onto the square, a reception hall overlooking the Belvedere, two large welcome and exhibition halls, and all necessary annexes (dressing rooms, locker rooms, etc.).

On October 11th, the French Federation of Building (FFB) organized open days at over 200 construction sites across France. In Vendée, the construction site of the Arena was chosen to host this event.

The objective was to raise awareness among young people about the various construction trades, as well as to showcase what is happening at this future 20 hectare park.

Children from various middle schools in Vendée took part in small masonry workshops within the future multi-sport hall of the Arena Park.
