Inauguration of Galin swimming pool

Designated a “Remarkable 20th-century heritage site”, the Galin swimming pool is a landmark in the urban and social landscape of Bordeaux’s Right Bank.
An original work by architects Gérard and Chassin, the pool was built in 1966. Under the direction of our agency, renovation work began, with the aim of modernizing the facility by improving technical equipment, user-friendliness and comfort – while preserving the original spirit.
The new aquatic facility now includes two pools, a paddling pool for children, a solarium, water games and an outdoor deck with lots of vegetation. Capacity is now 600 bathers.
