Competition Winner – Martial Arts and Boxing Center (MAMB) in Colomiers (31)

This project envisions a public facility that is clear, functional, and adaptable, dedicated to martial arts and boxing while reflecting Zen philosophy and sporting values. Situated on the façade of the Val d’Aran esplanade, the building hosts five practice rooms for seven associations: three wooden-floor rooms for Taekwondo, Kendo, Karate, and Boxing, and two tatami rooms for Judo, Aïkido, and Viet Vo Dao.

A lounge and reception hall open directly onto the large public square, creating a strong connection between the facility and the urban environment. The design emphasizes accessibility, flexibility, and a welcoming atmosphere for both athletes and the wider community.
