ONGOING CONSTRUCTION – MULTIFUNCTIONAL CULTURAL HALL OF THE ARENA DES SABLES D’OLONNE

Project content

The construction of the Arena in Les Sables-d’Olonne has reached a new stage with significant progress on the second phase of the project, dedicated to the cultural program, and more specifically to the main performance hall.

After completing the sports facilities, the project is now gradually revealing its cultural side, a key part of this hybrid venue designed as a true gathering place for the community.

The future main performance hall, adaptable from 2,000 to 4,000 seats, is designed to host a wide variety of events, including live shows, concerts, conferences, and exhibitions. Its operable stage wall will also allow the space to open to the outdoors, creating an occasional “green theatre.”

Ongoing work highlights the hall’s interior layout, with the concrete seating tiers poured, the mobile acoustic wall installed, and the wood-and-curved-glass balustrades in place, gradually revealing the atmosphere and the quality of the future venue.
