Benauge Fire Station Wins Two Awards at the 2026 Pyramides d’Argent

Project content

The redevelopment of Benauge Fire Station in Bordeaux received two awards at the 2026 Pyramides d’Argent: the Regional Grand Prize and the Renovation Award, presented by the Federation of Property Developers of Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

Designed by Claude Ferret in 1954 and listed as a historic monument in France since 2014, the building is being transformed to accommodate new uses while preserving its architectural heritage. The project includes a 113-room hotel, the renovation of 26 homes and the construction of 77 new homes.

These awards recognise the quality of the architectural transformation and the preservation of an outstanding example of modern architecture in Bordeaux.

We are proud to see this project recognised and would like to thank EPA Bordeaux Euratlantique, the City of Bordeaux, Eiffage Immobilier and all the teams involved for their contribution to this project.
